About Troop 136

Troop 136 chartered with the BSA in March 2010 with just five Scouts. In October we grew to seven Scouts and in November, we gained another four Scouts.

Many of our Leaders were past Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts; some have earned their Eagle Scout; many others have attended Wood Badge and earned their beads.

The Scouts like to camp, so we try to plan an active outdoor program with a monthly campout each month.  Thus far, we have visited State Parks, Nature Reservations, and Scout Camps in both Texas and Oklahoma.  We have many more adventures to come, including our first ever attendance at Summer Camp in 2011.

This site is intended to pass along information to current and perspective Scouts and their Parents, provide links to requirements and resources, and to provide a place for Calendar and Troop Activities.  Our Troop does have a Facebook presence as well.  Please find the link on the left side to request access to the site, if you are a member of our Troop.
